Triple-Double Sends Denver to Western Conference Finals

DENVER, Colo. (AP) - Nikola Jokic had 32 points and 12 rebounds, and the defending NBA champion Denver Nuggets powered past LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers 113-111 in Game 4 of the Western Conference finals on Tuesday night.

Jokic Dominant in Nuggets' Victory

Jokic, who finished with his 10th playoff triple-double, led the Nuggets' offense all night. He shot 12-of-22 from the field and 4-of-9 from three-point range. He also added eight assists and four steals.

James, who finished with 26 points and 11 rebounds, kept the Lakers close throughout the game. But the Nuggets' defense was too much for the Lakers to overcome in the end.

Nuggets Advance to Western Conference Finals

With the victory, the Nuggets advance to the Western Conference finals for the second straight year. They will face the winner of the series between the Phoenix Suns and the Los Angeles Clippers.

The Lakers, meanwhile, will now have to wait until next season to try to win their 18th NBA championship.
