Turkey will be looking to make history when they face Portugal in their second Group A match at UEFA EURO 2024 on 22 June.

Şenol Güneş's side opened their campaign with a 1-0 win over Georgia, and a victory against Portugal would see them win their first two games at a major tournament for the first time.

Turkey has never progressed beyond the group stage at a major tournament, but they will be confident of causing an upset against Portugal, who are ranked eighth in the FIFA World Rankings.

Portugal will be without their star player Cristiano Ronaldo, who is serving a suspension, but they still have plenty of quality in their squad.

The match will be played at the Signal Iduna Park in Dortmund, Germany, and will kick off at 16:00 CEST.
